Is flashback on required to convert the physical standby to snapshot standby.?

Hello Guys,

Is flashback on required to convert the physical standby to snapshot standby.? If flashback of in physical standby, can we convert it snapshot standby.?

We will going to do the DR test, before that we will plan to convert the physical standby to snapshot standby and then start the application 12.1.3. then check everything working in Fine before we will do the DR Test (Switch over).

Please share your knowledge.
