Backdating SUBSCRIPTION_SERVICE_BALGRP_TRANSFER

I'd like to move a service from one bal group to another but I want it to be effective at the beginning of the customer's current billing cycle.  So for example, if I run this opcode on Oct 12, I want it to be effective on Oct 1.  I tried added the custom deal and product data to the input flist but there seems to be a bug in the opcode where it tries to persist that information in the purchase product event which is not valid.  I was hoping there was some way to set an effective date or
