Fixed Asset - forgot to run create accounting and closed period. How to proceed.

Hello,

We have come up with an issue where business has run their Depreciation for Aug period & closed the period without running create accounting for that month/month end (by mistake). The SEP period was opened and activity was going on fine. When Create accounting was run for SEP period, it started showing unaccounted transactions of AUG period with an error message that AUG period is not open.

Interested to know if there is any manual workaround through which this issue could be solved ? The last option is to take a help from Oracle in obtaining a data fix for this situation.
