I would like to apply unplanned depreciation to an asset without amortimizing this adjustment but I am currently receiving the error message

APP-OFA-48394 Program exited with errors

You cannot expense an adjustment to an asset for which you have already Amortized an adjustment.   Please Amortize this adjustment.

Getting Debug information

&MSG1

Please could anyone advise how I can override this error message.
