How to edit Sum member asset depreciation to group flag

Hello

I have the following situation in a Group Asset (R12.1.1)

Member assets were added to a group asset which was wrongly created because the flag "sum member asset depreciation to group asset" was not activated.

Depreciation process was run and the group asset depreciation was calculated. This was the first depreciation for the group asset.

Now, when trying to edit the group asset to activate this flag, it is not editable.

Which is the best way to solve this? Should I create another group asset and transfer the members to the new group asset, and cancel the wrongly created group asset? Should I "break" the link of the member asset with the group asset, edit the group asset and then link the members again?
