Are there setups to not transfer OTL pay type to Payroll

I have one pay type that we want a group of users to be able to enter on our timecard and that pay type transfer to projects but NOT TRANSFER to Payroll.

I followed note1448583.1 and tested.   The pay type has hours on the timecard.   I transferred the timecard from OTL to BEE and that pay type transferred with zero hours.    Is that functionality? The note doesn't really say.   I don't want the pay type to show in BEE at all -- is there a way to do that with oracle functionality?
