Exadata network performance recommondations

We have an X6-2 HC full rack Exadata using the 10gig BondEth0 (Active/Active 1500 MTU) running 12.1 Grid and RDBMS. We are seeing poor network performance when we pull and push data warehouse data through the interface. We have an X2-2 HP half rack running 12.1 Grid and 11.2 RDBMS which is performing almost twice as fast. I am looking for any experienced recommendations on how to get better throughput on our 10Gig network. Thanks.
