What are the implications of "Create Accounting" with Future Dates(periods)?

The client has the need to do "Create Accounting" for future dates (specifically for transactions that will be in "Future" periods at the time of the run) for specific modules only - like AR, for example.

What are the implications/risks in doing that please? And what considerations need to be done to do that?
