Security recommended following patches to be applied to 11.2.0.4 oracle database home in Solaris environment.

Missing DB Patches : 23177648, 23054359

Missing OJVM Patches : 23177551

As recommended, i was able to apply 23054359 and 23177551 successfully. Before applying 23177648, i tried to utilize "Analyze for conflict" in MOS. It came back with Patch Conflict found result. The issue is "Installed patches already resolve the same issues as candidate patches.

When you compare bugs fixed by both the patches, they are exactly the same. Does anybody know why there are two different patch numbers assigned when both are addressing same exact bugs?
