How sales update work if HC and SC lines in one sales order

HI All ,

we have one sales order having three lines .  Two lines are hard committed and one line is soft committed.

when sales update is run it is creating 2 separate pay items in customer ledger.

1 pay item with hard committed sales order line total .

2 pay item with Soft committed sales order line total.

Is this standard functionality of sales update ??
