Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. Hi Team,

In IP2016, Is it mandatory to install Oracle XE database to setup local db in developer environment ?

We did migration installation of Siebel tools from 8.1.1.14.17 tools to 16.5. Does the traditional way of Local DB setup works now in IP16 tools ?

Please suggest.
