Web ADI Template-Saving Overwrite Changes not happening on first Attempt

Hello,   We currently updated our Office 2013 to 2016 and now multiple users are having issues when an overwrite save is made to a WEB ADI template while using the "Save" icon. I advised the users  to use the File>Save As functionality to overwrite changes and that is intermittently working as well.  However, if they use a regular excel template, they are are able to overwrite save on the first try. We applied patch 21959691 to make Office 2016 certified with Oracle version 12.1.3. Please advise what solution can be provided for this issue.
