earliest pickup and latest pickup

Hi,

In JDE E1, we have earliest & latest pickup options in dates/times tab under shipment revision screen from work with shipment screen, these 2 fields earliest pick & latest pick dates fields is accepting any dates, if my order date is 10/18/2016, estimated ship date is 10/21/2016 and delivery date is 10/25/2016 in this scenario, if i use earliest pickup date as 10/17 the field should throw me warning or error message that the dates is lesser than the order date. What is the purpose of these date fields?
