OSM Jeopardy Notification

Hi All,

I have basic doubt in Task Jeopardy Notification. Is it possible to trigger jeopardy notification when rule associated with it is evaluated to true without Condition tab(Expected duration with static value) configured?

My doubt is that what is the difference between rule and expected duration in order to trigger jeopardy. I want to trigger jeopardy based on date value which has been retrieved from external system and not to trigger on static duration configured.
