Contract/PO BP Picker Data Element required when completing BP design

Hi. I've created a BP from scratch. I did an error check on the design. It's giving me three errors... I'm perplexed as to why they are being sent to me.

Field <Contract/PO> is required in Form <main>.

Field <Contract/PO> is required in Form <main>.

Reference commit is not found.

I don't have a reference process defined to look at the Contracts BP or the PO BP. I'm uncertain how the design of a BP would require this. I do have another BP Picker data element to look up the record number of a different BP. So, I don't understand why this particular field is required.
