Lot expire date control

Hi    

      when we receive the stock from a vendor , JDE create a lot and record the lot on hand date , lot expire date . the lot experire date is base on the stock receive date and the life shelf day setted in Item master. but the business requirement is to get the experite data base on the date of the Manufacturing data/or the shipping date of the verdor. but JDE lot can't record this information. and this may cause the expire data is not corrent for the real life cycle control of the material.
