Siebel 8.1.1.11 to IP16 upgrade approach

Hello,

We were on Siebel 8.1.1.11 on Win2003 server and have to upgrade to IP16.

As per Oracle support>certification, IP16 is not supported with Win2003, hence we upgraded the OS to Win2008R2.

Now we have a Win2008R2 server box, with no Siebel instance.

We have below upgrade plan, please suggest if it will work:

1- Run New Installation for IP16 on Win2008R2 server

2- Install Oracle12c 32-bit client

3- Configure Enterprise, gateway and Siebel server (dont install new DB)

4- point to existing Siebel 8.1.1.11 DB, Oracle 11gR2 DB server

## I have a doubt here if it works? as Oracle 12c seems not to be supported with Siebel 8.1.1.11.
