When network failed at that time Response of query fired in SQLPlus taking so long 20 secs

Hi All,

One Problem i am facing right now that i have established database connection from client machine to server and if i execute some query from  that session and if network fails at the same time then the session will respond after 19 to 20 seconds with error "ORA-03113 End of communication Channel". How can i reduce this 20 seconds delay up to 3 seconds ?? We need very quick response for further process..??
