Cloud Fusion Assets DFF

I have enabled the Asset Category DFF to capture additional attributes on asset. The assets will be created/uploaded manually in he system. The Asset Category DFF attribute1 is assigned to a table dependent value set. The value set uses the oracle provided table PJO_PROJECTS_V to display all the project numbers. After the DFF is saved and deployed. But the DFF does not show the drop down. The LOV is empty.
