Do I run rcu or ua?

I am trying to upgrade from 10g to 12c Webcenter Content.  I found my DBA team copied the existing 10g databases over to the new 12c database server.  I have Weblogic and Webcenter Content 11.1.1.9 installed on a new Red Hat Linux 7 server.  So should I be running rcu or ua in this instance?   Current when I tried rcu, it would clock, which I was discussing in another thread and still waiting on Oracle to assist with that as I have I had no response since last Thursday.

Since I just found out the DBAs did a copy instead of just standing up a new server/database, I thought maybe I needed to go through the ua instead.  I tried to run it and received this error that I do not understand:
