How to designate which ledger document types post to

Hello,

Our accounting team is under the impression that setup was done at some point to tell certain document types to not post to our AZ ledger.  For example we have a JQ document type that is supposed to be used for journal entries that should not affect cash basis. However, it appears the post is no longer doing this correctly.  I was not involved with the initial setup and have been unable to find documentation on how to do it.  Could someone please point me in the right direction?
