Should we be using DISM for 11.2.04 on Solaris 10 SPARC-64

We were running DISM on our 11.2.0.4 database on Veritas filesystems (no ASM). We have migrated to ZFS and DISM is running but we are encountering poor performance on I/O. Should we be using DISM? Do you think if we disable DISM we might get improved performance?
