Approval for Partner Registration for PRM

Dear Experts,

Is there any known limitation of implementing a custom approval process during a partner acquisition process when the partner is in the prospective partner stage?

I am planning to use the OOTB ISS Approval process to build a custom process (reusing OOTB entities wherever applicable).

However while defining the Inbox Type I do not see any predefined category for Partner like we have for other entities like APPROVAL, MARKETING FUND, PROGRAM etc. Was wondering if that drives any specific class behavior or its just an identifier or indication that the approval is for that entity.

Appreciate any information regarding the same.
