Testing planning parameters

OTM Community,

we are in process of planning parameter testing which are right for our business scenarios. However, during testing i find the results are not consistent all the time even with same parameters. Here is the method we follow to test any planning parameter change:

1. Change the required planning parameter in either parameter set, logic config or at itinerary level

2. Clear the cache via servlet (Master Data domain as well Transnational Domain)

3. Re-test changes with same data set to observe Bulk Planning results.

Has anybody ran across same issue?

What is the best method or steps you have used while testing such changes in test environment?
