Service Contracts: Is there anyway to find out if tax has been calculated on the service contracts?

I need to create a QA check to make sure calculate tax has been done before user can proceed to submit approval workflow.    I am trying to find out a way to check if and when tax was calculated on the contract.  Any help is appreciated.
