Accounting Sequence Number not appearing in GL Journals

Hi,

I had created Accounting sequence as per White paper mentioned in Doc ID:- 1336723.1.

(Sequencing Entity:- Subledger Journal Entry and Sequencing Event:- Accounting)

Was able to see Accounting sequence number under Payables Subledger --> Query up the invoice and then navigate to View Accounting

When i navigate to GL module and query for the corresponding journal, i cannot see Accounting sequence number.

Is this expected or intended functionality that Accounting sequence number appears only in Subledger but not in GL.
