IP Address Availability for use

Dear All

We've two business units in our Asset Management module of FSCM 9.2 with no/zero image update. One does have the IP address available for use/edit at the basic add level while the other shows this field as disable.

The only difference I could find out between these two is that in the later one where IP address field is disable, we don't record/book the accounting entries of it at the General Ledger level.

Any idea why it's so as we would like to use the IP Address field as well as the next field which is also disable. Kindly review the attached snapshots for detail.
