Does RMA receipt cedit projects

We are on 12.2.3 and use Order Management with Projects.

Sales order ines are created with Project and Task and when we pick the SO from  a non-project/task locator to a project/task locator(same as that on the SO line), the material transaction is interfaced to projects.

Now if we do a RMA on this SO line ,we have noticed that transaction does not interface to projects to reverse the original entry.How do we reverse the original entry in projects when a RMA is receieved?
