Negative Final Pay
Hi All,
One of the employees in our final pay payroll is in negative pay situation as this employee has deductions (company loan) in excess to his final gross pay.
We use interims for recording final payments and when off cycle interim payment is entered, system adjusts the net pay to zero since payroll does not allow
negative net pay. Should this payment be entered as an adjustment interim in order to update the payroll history with negative net pay?
Please let me know the best approach to handle this scenario.
