TNS_12535,TNS-00505 errors in alert log

Hi experts,

I am seeing a lot of time out errors in alert.log. Could someone please help in solving this. Can we ignore these errors or make them stop appearing from alert logs by tweaking some parametres. Please advice

OEL 6.7, Oracle database 11.2.0.4

Fatal NI connect error 12170.
