I'm really struggling to find the source of slow apply rate.The standby is setup with SRL's(n+1) same size of redo logs. RFS is receving the redo data as the last received sequence sequence is close to primary.The standby sometimes would be lagging behind by more than 300 or 400 logs even though its realtime query(no ADG) since its uses SRL's.
Increased the SGA to allocate more buffer cache but no improvement in apply process performance ...how can i see what is causing the slowness or what can be done to speedup the apply process.
