My work order cost are high and showing period close variances.

How to adjust the WIP maint.material account and WIP main material variance account are same in our WIP account class.

Am briefing my issue:

Warehouse wrongly performed Misc receipts for capex spares with high cost.

All those capex spares were issues to work order at same high cost

Later performed WIP return and corrected the item cost and WIP issue done with correct cost.

our Inventory material account cost went high and did the reversals correctly.

Later for the cost variance account was high with negative value so adjusted in GL with debited to Variance account
