Replace New Line Character in BIP in Siebel

Hi,

I am facing an issue in an Excel BIP report. If a field has new line characters, the output in excel occupies multiple rows for that record. Can you please tell me how to replace a new line character with a space at BIP level so that one record occupies only one row.
