R12.1.3 SR Notifications and Third Party Group Technicians

Can anyone confirm if SR Notifications are supported in R12.1.3. for Third Party Group Technicians. I seem to recall something unique about this integration touch point and wanted to know if anyone in the community could can confirm. I am aware the Group Notifications are newly supported R 12.2 pursuant to ER 3221505 Bug 3221505 - WORKFLOW NOTIFICATION NOT SENT TO GROUP OWNER MEMBERS as part of 12.2.3. and This was being backported to 12.1.3 via internal Bug 20361988 - SEND WORKFLOW NOTIFICATION TO GROUP OWNER MEMBERS as reported in a discussion by Naga Kumari Kanumuri-Oracle February 2016.

Please note that in 12.2.4 New profile has been introduced "Service: Notify members of the group assigned to the Service Request"
