Work Requests stuck in Additional Information and no longer in the Notifications list

We have quite a few work requests stuck in Additional Information and cannot be deleted.  They are no longer visible in the Notifications section so the maintenance employee who placed them in Additional Information cannot see them to cancel them.   Any Suggestions on how to delete these work requests?
