Unable to change Install Location on IB

Hello,

We have item instances owned by Internal Customer and subsequently the Current Location is in Inventory.

I would like to update the current location / install location manually keeping instance ownership with Internal customer. Business reason behind is as a service provider organization we rent our units in the field to customer, so we are the owners of the instance, but its physically located at a customer location.

One way that I figured out is that to create SR and perform Instance Install transaction while doing the debrief but there are cases where we need to updated the location before it physically moves. Because some times contract starts before the unit is physically at customer place and need to leave the current location as Inventory but Install location as HZ locations.
