Create installments for Project Invoice

Hello, I have to create installments for AR invoices that comes from Project Billing.

I have created a Payment term with 3 installments, but when the invoice is shown in AR Transactions, I can not change the amount of the installment. I can only change the due date.

Is there any way  to create manual installments and be able to modify them once the invoice is in AR Transactions?

We are using r12.1.3
