Goldengate DDL capture trigger is it needed in target ?

I see the goldengate ddl capture trigger enabled on the target . I guess it is not needed. But can someone confirm. We create the target database based on storage replication from source and then start the goldengate replication based on scn.

Classic capture . 11.2.0.4 db

11.2.1.0.5 goldengate
