eCommerce supported version IP2016

Currently my Team is doing Siebel Development project with below version

Siebel CRM : 8.1.1.14 [23044] LANG_INDEP

DB Oracle : 11.2.0.4

Plan is to go live on April 2017 ,

Now we received a proposal to upgrade from current Siebel version to IP 2016 for next production release version

We want to understand like

Does IP2016 supports existing functionality of ecommerce \ Partner portal Application & CTI in IP 2016, is there any OOTB functionality having any impact

Please provide your recommendation & share links  on highlights of IP 2016 Vs IP 2014 to identify differences & limitations
