Invalid install base instance/serial number. Please verify location

Hi,

When we tried to user two serial numbers in depot repair we are getting above error message. When we checked for those two serial numbers install base item instance, account classification code is showing as "Work in Process". but when we checked for material transaction for those two serial numbers they are consumed in WIP job and the serial number status is showing as "Issued out of stores".

I found one note 1486776.1 and it seems the same cause here.
