Primary UOM in LB and Sales Order in KG, Pick Confirm updates sales order in LB

Hi, If the item is setup as primary UOM as LB and Sales order is entered in KG, After the order flowed thru WMS and user does pick confirm, the sales order order original line is cancelled and a new line is generated in LB instead of KG. Is it working as designed or there is some configurations I have missed?
