context name with alias

Hi,

I'm having the following question to which I think I know the answer, but I'm looking for a second opinion.

The question is; can an eBS Context Name - as it typically is "<ORACLE_SID>_<servername>" - have a server alias as "servername" ?

The question relates to the eBS setup on both the database and the middle-ware tier.

Importantly, I'm beholding this question in context of NOT using any database clustering, and NOT using any middleware load balancing.

The "alias" is just a network resolvable name for a given server, which is resolvable on all levels. That means : a database server alias is resolvable also on the middle-ware tier. And, in the other direction as well.
