Java.exe service spiking in EPM 11.1.2.4 system

Hi All,

Every 80-90 minutes the service java.exe located in the location \Oracle\Middleware\jdk160_35\jre\bin on the Server1-EPMA,WebServer and ReportingServer from below server list spikes and starts consuming more and more CPU % and will not reduce below 25 % for around 8-10 minutes even with zero users logged to the system.

Below are the details of servers and respective components installed.

  1. Server1-EPMA,WebServer and ReportingServer
  2. Server2-HFM
  3. Server3-HFM
  4. Server4-FDMEE

Server2 and 3 form our HFM cluster.

Also I want to inform you that currently I am working on DEV environment with no users are working on it, no consolidations are run. More or less I am doubting some tuning parameter which is cause issue with java.exe service. For every multiple of 80-90 mins past the Server 1 is started java.exe is showing this behaviour. At this point of time I will not be able to load the Workspace URL and log in.
