Running 'Close of Purchasing Documents Program' for Purchase Orders-Accounting Impact

Hi

We are required to close some old Purchase orders (approximately 5000 PO which dates since 2010)

I have run the Close of Purchasing Documents Program and it is working fine on a clone instance and I need to run the program on production instance.

Now my worry/query is whether running the program will have any impact in GL , in other words would there be any accounting entry generated in GL when we close Inventory & Cost Manager module for November 2016 as we run this Program.

In Purchasing Our Receipt Accounting is set as Accrue Expense Items at 'Period End'' and Accrue Inventory Items at ''Receipt'.
