libsqlplus.so not shown to the world after patching p24433133_121020_Linux-x86-64.zip?

Has anybody seen this happening in other environments after patching 12.1.0.2 in RedHat Linux.

One of our users noticed this today after we installed this patch. We checked a couple of other servers that the same "feature" exists also on them but nobody has noticed it earlier because almost anybody uses sqlplus directly from the server from another user than the home owner.

the file looks like this:

-rw-r----- 1 oracle oracle   1551672 Nov 10 09:14 libsqlplus.so

opatch version:

OPatch Version: 12.2.0.1.8

We can't check the situation before this patch because this was the last 12c server to be patched. Do you know how long this has been the situation? Or does anybody know if this is an intentional change or a bug in this individual patch?
