Unable to update a Service Order in Draft Status

As per Activity History: Repair Order Num: 148296, Item: 6810P*517, Qty: 14, Repair Type: RR Warranty, Status: Draft

Then this list was split individually with 14 serial numbers which is not captured on the service Order 148296.

Now, I would like to update the Status from Draft to Closed or to cancel this line but "UPdate SO Status" is disabled. When I go to capture serial numbers form, I could see this serial populated there but when I click View Errors I see the below 2 errors:

The inventory item with ID &INVENTORY_ITEM_ID is serial controlled and its serial number 15422616 is invalid. (INSTANCE_ID=10747605)
