QFS superblock not found on new disks after running samgrowfs

Unmounted filesystem on all clients, slave and master metadata server.  Formated 10 new disks and added them to the mcf file.  Ran 'samd config', then 'samgrowfs'  I am unable to see the new size on the metadata server.

# samfsconfig -v /dev/dsk/c5t5000097208080194d105s6

Device '/dev/dsk/c5t5000097208080194d105s6' doesn't have a QFS superblock (SBLK).

0 QFS devices found.

Tried removing them from the mcf file and reran:

# samgrowfs scopus-p-xcrbkponline

samgrowfs: No new devices added to filesystem scopus-p-xcrbkponline.

Filesystem will not as it is:

psc1832:#  mount scopus-p-xcrbkponline

mount_samfs: backgrounding: scopus-p-xcrbkponline

psc1832:# mount_samfs: Client mount scopus-p-xcrbkponline timed out: Invalid argument

Howdy, Stranger!
