Manufacturer's Serial Number field on the Serial Entry screen

Hi Members,

I have a requirement to enable the Manufacturer's Serial Number field on the Serial Entry screen on the Shipping Transaction form. This is to capture the original serial number on the unit from the supplier/manufacturer on the shipping transaction. Please let me konw if you have used this functionality before. Currently this field is disabled on the serial entry screen. Our plan is to use this field or adjacent Attribute field on the serial entry form to capture Manufacturer's serial number on our deliveries.

Any pointers will definitely help.
