Interesting Case in Shipment Confirmation - WS

Hi All,

Need your expertise on the Logic used in P4205 (shipment confirmation) on the

below scenario;

         For a new item, On hand and Availability is 6 and committed is zero.

There are 2 orders, order#1 with 6 Qty (soft commit) and order#2 with 1 qty (soft commit).

When order#2 is attempted for shipment confirmation, "Quantity Exceeds

available" warning is thrown.

In general, as order#1 is not ship confirmed, still 6 items are available physically,

if so why system throws warning message, when order#2 with 1 quantity is

attempted for shipment confirmation.

In concise, if quantities exist physically, system should allow to

ship the quantities without any warning and the Available Quantity should not go negative.

Howdy, Stranger!
