How to modify the DSC1 field when receiving against a PO generated in RSS.

We are using RSS and would like to know how to enable the description field to be editable upon receiving.  For example if I have a large service order and will be receiving against it multiple times over the year we want to be able to modify the description each time.  Currently it is set to the original Requisitions description and we are not able to modify it.
